Claude
Add Dubsado as a custom connector on claude.ai or in the Claude desktop app, then use it in any chat.
Server URL
https://mcp.dubsado.dev/mcpSteps
- Open Settings → Connectors and choose Add custom connector. (On a Team or Enterprise plan this may be under Settings → Connectors → Browse connectors, and an owner or admin may need to enable custom connectors for the organization first.)
- Give it a name (Dubsado), paste the server URL above, and click Add.
- Click Connect. A Dubsado window opens. Sign in if you are not already signed in, review the consent screen, and choose Approve.
- The connector now shows as connected, with the Dubsado tools listed under it.
Using it in a chat
Open a new chat, click the tools or attachments control in the message box, and make sure Dubsado is enabled. Then just ask, for example "Which invoices are overdue, and who do I need to chase?" Claude asks for permission the first time it calls a Dubsado tool.
Multi-brand accounts: Claude will look up your brands and
tell you which one it queried. If you have several, name the brand in your question to skip a
step.
If something goes wrong
- The browser window never opens: check that the URL you pasted ends in
/mcpand starts withhttps://. - Approval succeeds but no tools appear: disconnect and reconnect the connector. Tool definitions are fetched fresh on each connection.
- "Unauthorized" after it worked before: access was revoked or expired; reconnect from your AI app's connector settings.
- An assistant reports partial results: it hit the 120 calls-per-minute limit. Ask again in a minute, or narrow the question.
