Dubsado MCP

ChatGPT

Add Dubsado as a custom connector in ChatGPT, then enable it in a chat.

Before you start

Adding your own MCP server requires a paid ChatGPT plan, and on some plans it sits behind developer mode. On Business, Enterprise and Edu workspaces an admin may need to allow custom connectors first. OpenAI moves these settings around between releases, so treat the menu names below as a guide and check OpenAI's connector help article if your version looks different.

Steps

  1. Open Settings and find the section for connectors, apps or MCP servers. If there is no option to add your own, look for developer mode in that section's advanced settings and turn it on.
  2. Choose the option to add a custom connector / MCP server.
  3. Name it Dubsado, paste the server URL above, choose the remote or Streamable HTTP transport if you are asked, and leave authentication set to OAuth.
  4. Save, then connect. Sign in to Dubsado in the window that opens, review the consent screen, and choose Approve.
  5. In a chat, open the + / tools menu and turn on the Dubsado connector before asking your question.
ChatGPT shows you each tool call and asks before running it. Every Dubsado tool is read-only, so approving one can only ever read data back into the conversation.
